American experts to assist Elmina plane crash investigations

Kuala Lumpur: A group of American aviation experts are reportedly here to assist local authorities in its investigations into Thursday's private jet crash that killed 10 people including everyone on board the plane, the police said.

Shah Alam OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim reportedly said the experts will help determine the cause of the crash.“They are expected to examine the wreckage, which is by the road shoulder along Persiaran Elmina on Monday. Until then we will station personnel at the scene to conduct 24-hour surveillance to ensure it remains undisturbed,” he told The Star. “The cockpit voice recorder has also been retrieved and all evidence at the scene has been tagged,” he added.
