Amendments to Article 1(2) must follow MA63, says PBS

SABAH opposition party Parti Bersatu Sabah today welcomed Putrajaya’s efforts to amend Article 1 of the federal constitution to restore Sabah and Sarawak as equal partners with peninsular Malaysia, but has yet to decide whether to support the bill. Its president, Maximus Ongkili, said that although there had been much excitement over the news, PBS has yet to see the proposed amendment.
