JUST IN: .realamberheard has been reportedly cut from the Aquaman sequel and the part of Mera will be recast.
"The rumor mill continues as it has from day one — inaccurate, insensitive, and slightly insane," a representative for the actress told Fox News Digital.“Warner Bros. decided to recast Amber Heard‘s role after screen testing the movie. They are going to be doing reshoots with Jason Momoa and Nicole Kidman,” an inside source told Just Jared.This comes after Heard was found liable for multiple claims of defamation against ex-husband Johnny Depp.
Scenes from the new movie were included in a promotional trailer in February, alongside footage from The Batman, Black Adam, and The Flash.
