Virginia State Police issued an AMBER ALERT for three children they said were abducted from their Virginia Beach home.
AMBER ALERT issued out of Virginia Beach ended in a vehicle crash in Prince George's County, Maryland, Thursday morning according to a Maryland State Police spokesperson.
According to VSP, three siblings — 5-year-old Zayin Plummer, 3-year-old Zayir Plummer, and 16-month-old Za’riyah Plummer — were believed to have been abducted by 36-year-old Dana Demetrius Plummer from their home in the 900 block of Jay Are Court around 9 p.m. after he allegedly stabbed their mother.
Just before 9 a.m., VSP attempted to initiate a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle traveling northbound on Interstate 95 near the 166 mile marker in Fairfax County but VSP officials said the driver refused to stop and a pursuit was initiated.
