Veteran Benefits Australia connects veterans with services they can access after their military service and founder Thomas Bailey discussed the “amazing” response to the veteran mindfulness program.
“We filmed a lot of different yoga, mindfulness activities, art therapy, music therapy, we had a lot of different activities on there for mindfulness that veterans could do in the comfort of their own home,” he told Sky News Australia.
“They would also get check-ins with a psychologist and … it would help those veterans really feeling isolated during COVID-19 and help improve service delivery so they can continue to get those psychology services as well as do daily meditation practices.”
