A fan of The Mandalorian has recently taken to Twitter to share an amazing LEGO model that recreates an iconic Grogu scene from season 3.
An iconic scene from The Mandalorian season 3 has been amazingly recreated by a Star Wars fan using LEGO. In The Mandalorian season 3, episode 7, Grogu's character was developed significantly in a way that benefits his connections to Din and the other Mandos. Through a surprising twist pertaining to the return of IG-11 hinted at in The Mandalorian season 3's premiere, Grogu was given the newly-rebuilt IG-12 to act as a mech suit of sorts.
In an incredible recreation, a Star Wars fan by the handle of @sprguinness took to Twitter to share a LEGO model of The Mandalorian's Grogu and IG-12. SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Rather than a simple, immovable model of Grogu and his new droid suit, the various pieces of LEGO designed as gears allow IG-12 to walk in place when a handle is cranked. The fantastic recreation perfectly captures the movement of the now-iconic scene from The Mandalorian season 3, episode 7 in which Grogu tests out his new hardware in Greef Karga's office.
Grogu's New IG-12 Armor Delighted Viewers The scene is now near-iconic due to the sheer delight viewers felt over Grogu's new armor. Not only does the plot point pay off the set-up of IG-11's return that many thought the show had forgotten about, but it allows Grogu to have much more agency than usual.
Thanks to IG-12's armor, Grogu now has the voice of Taika Waititi, albeit with the limited vocabulary of "yes" and "no." Regardless, Grogu now being able to communicate thrilled viewers of The Mandalorian season 3, episode 7, who both witnessed the foundling's childlike urges acted on in hilarious fashion through IG-12 and saw somewhat of a resolution of Grogu's first words.
