PETALING JAYA: The choice of who will be the country's ninth prime minister must be decided by Pakatan Harapan presidential council, says Khalid Samad .
Khalid acknowledged that Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal's candidacy as prime minister was brought up during an informal meeting recently involving leaders from Amanah, DAP, Parti Warsian Sabah and Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad. Khalid said that Amanah would take the matter up to the Pakatan presidential council soon for a decision.
In response to this, Shafie, who is Warisan president and Sabah Chief Minister, said he would seriously consider Dr Mahathir's suggestion.
