Chairman of the Alliance for Safe Community Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye, referring to case of the two-year-old boy who was thrown out of his father's car at KM235.5 South North Highway on Monday, said the incident must be taken seriously by all parties and that it should not be considered as a freak incident.
“The incident has raised questions as to why the child was not wearing safety belt or placed in a child car seat. Lee said the child was fortunate to have survived the incident and hoped the youngster did not suffer any internal injuries.
