If you would like alerts on this and other ADOT news, sign up above to receive our GovDelivery notices.The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan ahead for lane restrictions on Interstate 10 near Quartzsite beginning Tuesday, May 3, at 6 a.m.

Maintenance crews are scheduled to extract pavement samples in an effort to gather data that’ll help maintain quality roadways. The following restrictions will occur on Interstate 10 from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3, and Wednesday, May 4:Quartzsite Boulevard on- and off-ramps and overpass will experience intermittent closures for up to 15 minutes. Motorists are encouraged to use the next exit available.The speed limit on I-10 will be reduced to 55 mph.
