The Tesda said it was able to provide trainings to a total of 28,982 repatriated overseas Filipino workers and their dependents last year.

“Yung mga bumabalik na nawalan ng trabaho ay binibigyan natin ng training program para makapaghanda sa bagong skills na papasukin nila o babalik sila sa kanilang foreign employment at kung mag-decide sila na dito na magtrabaho,” Tesda Director General Danilo

Cruz said in a media interview.According to the agency, over 84,000 OFWs and their dependents also registered last year in the Tesda Online Program , which provides courses in COVID-19 preventive measures in the workplace, caregiving, and housekeeping services.
