The man accused of killing five people in Cleveland will get top-tier representation after a judge appointed high-profile Houston criminal defense attorney Anthony Osso.

Oropeza is accused in the April 28 shooting deaths of Diana Velásquez Alvarado, 21; Julisa Molina Rivera, 31; Jose Jonathan Casarez, 18; Sonia Argentina Guzman, 25; and Daniel Enrique Laso, 9, all from Honduras.
Osso said the first step was to gather as much information as he could to determine the groundwork for the case. “He and Lisa Andrews are outstanding attorneys,” Freyer said. “They are very competent and very qualified. They know their way around a courtroom.
