Kings of Chaos, featuring members of Guns N’ Roses, Slipknot, Halestorm and more, will headline the main concert event for race fans in April.

Drummer Matt Sorum is bringing his all-star band King of Chaos to Long Beach to headline the Grand Prix April 15. The Kings of Chaos rocked the 2017 Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach and will return to headline again this year on April 15. “Kings of Chaos are excited to join this legendary event and we’re putting together a once-in-a-lifetime show to make it even more memorable for fans of live music. Fast cars and Rock N’ Roll,” Sorum said in a statement on Feb. 28.
The band will be performing for up to 10,000 Grand Prix ticketholders on the plaza in front of the Long Beach Performing Arts Center, adjacent to the Long Beach Convention Center starting at 6:30 p.m. The band previously headlined the Grand Prix in 2017. The 2023 Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach will take place April 14-16 with more than 180,000 expected to attend the race, which is one of the city’s biggest events.
