The Mandalorian Din Djarin arrives on the planet Ossus, looking for Grogu, who is away and training with Master Skywalker . The Jedi Temple on Ossus is being constructed out of stone by R2-D2 and an army of ant-droids.
2 Jedi Temple Flashbacks in The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi In the actual Star Wars sequel trilogy, the temple is only seen in flashbacks. Star Wars: The Force Awakens shows it very minimally, with Rey seeing Luke kneeling alongside R2-D2 looking at an ambiguous fire. The full scene isn't shown until the next movie, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, with Mark Hamill's riveting performance looking upon the burning structure of the temple.
