Vikander and Fassbender met while working on the 2016 film “The Light Between Oceans.” In the movie, Vikander plays a character who suffers two pregnancy losses.

But there are times that myself or colleagues have been through something and, well, I can’t understand how they went on to the red carpet afterwards.” The leading lady shared she didn’t officially know she wanted to be a mom until she was 30, with the pregnancy loss solidifying her desire to have children. “For a while I didn’t think that I could get pregnant,” she toldThough it was difficult to overcome that painful time, Vikander talked about how she and Fassbender remain united while tackling parenthood and juggling gigs.
