They don't go to work to be assaulted, abused and have rocks thrown at them."In 2022, St John Ambulance recorded 80 incidents of physical and verbal abuse towards paramedics in the NT.Some assaults were made by patients towards staff, while others were committed by bystanders or people "in the vicinity" of ambulance staff or property.
