To Cuarón’s credit, though, he looks unperturbed by his daughter’s TikTok dance, almost as though he’s been inured to any level of teenage distraction. The TikTok isn’t Tess’s first brush with fame—she appeared as a baby in, which her father directed—but over the years, she’s clearly learned a thing or two about the power of performance. I can’t explain why, but the TikTok makes me feel both deeply at peace and determined to buy my own dad something nice for Father’s Day this year.
