We've got our top three series prop picks just in time for the start of the ALCS between the Rangers and Astros.The ALCS is set for its first pitch Sunday night at Minute Maid Park between the Texas Rangers and Houston Astros, and it’s also time for three interesting series props to consider for the all-Texas best-of-seven clash.
Then there’s the fact the regular-season series between the teams, which Houston prevailed in by a 9-4 margin, featured plenty of high-scoring affairs. The Rangers and Astros put up seven double-digit run tallies between them over the 13 games, and eight of the meetings notably finished with 10 total runs or more.
As mentioned, Scherzer is due to return for Texas, but he’s been far from unhittable, gives up plenty of homers, and is coming back from a serious shoulder injury. Rangers relievers have also been less than reliable, and both Nathan Eovaldi and Jon Gray also had trouble with Houston bats during the regular season.
