Federal Labor leader Anthony Albanese has doubled down on his refusal to call an inquiry into the alleged bullying of Kimberley Kitching, ahead of her funeral on Monday.
Labor is seeking members for a new national complaints panel that will determine penalties for those who breach the party’s code of conduct on bullying, discrimination and sexual harassment.Advertisement
Mr Albanese sought to quell disquiet among supporters of Senator Kitching on Saturday, insisting the ALP had processes in place to deal with bullying and harassment complaints.
