Athens police say a woman is behind bars after she broke into a home and shot a person after demanding money.
Det. Lt. Jonathan Caldwell said the incident happened Monday at about 5:42 a.m. in the 700 block of Brownsferry Street. Athens police investigators say Mary Natasa Lashinta Noble, 25, entered the residence with a firearm, awakened the victim and began demanding money.
