The University of Alabama self-reported a dozen total violations, which included none from the football program but three from the men’s basketball program.

The University of Alabama’s athletic department on Friday released its annual report of minor NCAA recruiting violations for the recently-completed academic year., which included none from the football program but three from the men’s basketball program.

The men’s basketball program also reported last August hiring “an individual as a football strength and conditioning coach who triggered IAWP status for a prospective men’s basketball student-athlete upon his full-time enrollment.” The player was declared ineligible.
