Aktivis warga Myanmar Thuzar Maung dan suaminya Saw Than Tin Win. Thuzar, suaminya dan tiga anak mereka didakwa hilang pada 4 Julai lalu. – Gambar Human Rights Watch, 22 Julai 2023.
KUMPULAN pelarian Myanmar bimbang mereka akan turut dihilangkan individu tidak dikenali seperti dialami satu keluarga dari komuniti itu sekiranya kerajaan tidak bertindak. Aktivis komuniti Chin, James Bawi berkata kes yang didakwanya sebagai penculikan pada awal Julai itu bukan sahaja menakutkan aktivis tetapi seluruh warga Myanmar yang berada di Malaysia.
