PETALING JAYA: Following an increase in demand for air travel, AirAsia now allows passengers to carry two pieces of cabin baggage again with a combined weight not exceeding 7kg for free.
“Guests will be able to carry one cabin bag not exceeding the dimensions of 56cm x 36cm x 23cm or not more than the maximum linear of 115cm.
For the other piece, it can be a laptop bag or a small bag not exceeding the dimensions of 40cm x 30cm x 10cm or the maximum linear of 80cm and it must fit under the passenger seat in front. In April, AirAsia had initially announced that passengers can only carry one bag with a maximum weight of 5kg into the cabin.
