What is Baylan's true agenda?

Played by the late Ray Stevenson, Baylan Skoll is one of the most fascinating characters in Ahsoka. An Order 66 survivor who's served as a mercenary since the fall of the Jedi, he has his own agenda - one that has confounded even the plans of Grand Admiral Thrawn.
Baylan Seems To Hate Anakin Skywalker Baylan has a strange connection to Anakin Skywalker, and he knows a surprising amount about the Chosen One. Some of this knowledge is easily explained; as he noted, everybody in the Jedi Order had heard of Anakin's heroism during the Clone Wars. Matt Stover's novelization of Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith reveals the whole galaxy had heard about Obi-Wan and Anakin, who were considered foremost among the galaxy's heroes.
There's some evidence ancient Jedi considered balance to be a third aspect of the Force. Baylan's costume alone seems to hint he shares this perspective, and considers himself an agent of balance, willing to use both the light and the dark sides of the Force. He wears an obsidian ring - obsidian, a volcanic mineral that can be charged with the dark side, and that has even been used to power red Sith lightsabers.
It's even possible Baylan considers himself to be the true Chosen One. He is, after all, the only one who seems able to hear the siren song from Peridea. He could potentially believe himself to be the one chosen by some cosmic entity that stands for balance, a being that needs to be awoken so the balance of the Force can be restored. This would fit perfectly with his dislike for Anakin Skywalker.
