PETALING JAYA: Umno secretary-general Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan has been told not to interfere in the Registrar of Societies probe on the possible violation of the party's constitution through the no-contest motion for its top two posts, says a Terengganu party member.
"I hope he does not pre-empt the RoS or interfere with the ongoing probe. This could affect the people’s trust in the department," he said in a statement on Friday . "There have been many times in Umno's 77-year history that the positions have not been contested," he said in a Facebook posting on Friday .
