NSTpolitics: The Sultan of Perak assented to appoint Ahmad Faizal Azumu as the 13th Menteri Besar as he had gained majority support from state assemblymen.
Abdul Rahim said the Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah, assented to appoint Ahmad Faizal as Menteri Besar as he had gained majority support from state assemblymen.
This is the second time the 49-year-old Perak Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia chairman has been named Perak Menteri Besar. Ahmad Faizal attended Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan Cator Avenue and Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Anderson in Ipoh, before pursuing Business Management at Edith Cowan University Edith in Perth, Australia.
