DUBLIN (Reuters) - The lead European Union privacy regulator fined social media giant Meta 91 million euros ($101.5 million) on Friday for inadvertently storing some users' passwords without protection or encryption.

The new Smart Farming Zone aimed to digitally empower the national agriculture sector through technologies like IoT, Big Data Analytics, AI, and DroneTech, enhancing productivity, quality, and optimising plantations. “Agri Malaysia consistently served as a leading B2B platform, bringing together planters, farmers, growers, stakeholders, technology innovators, and solution providers from sectors such as palm oil, durian, fruits, vegetables, and horticulture,” Lim added.
“Technological advancements like precision agriculture, drone monitoring, and IoT-based soil sensors were transforming the sector, improving productivity and resource efficiency.
