Agonising wait: Inquest into death of AKA's lover, Anele Tembe, still not ready
The long-awaited inquest into the death of budding chef Anele Tembe is not ready to proceed yet, leaving both her family and that of her fiancé, the late Keenan"AKA" Forbes, in limbo.
A virtual meeting was held with the inquest magistrate in Cape Town on Tuesday to discuss progress on getting some of the statements signed, and for the executor, who will stand in for Forbes, to prepare for the inquest. Tembe fell to her death from the 10th floor of the Pepper Hotel in Cape Town on 11 April 2021 while in the city for the weekend with musician Forbes, who performed at the Ayepyep Lifestyle Lounge.South Africans need to be in the know if we want to create a prosperous future.
