Attorney General Bill Barr has tested negative for the coronavirus after coming into contact with a Texas congressman who has tested positive.

"I don't have the coronavirus, turns out as of yesterday I've never had it. But if I get it, you'll never see me without a mask," he said. "But I keep being tested and I don't have it. So I'm not afraid of you, but if I get it I'll wear a mask."

Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., the chair of the House Democratic Caucus, said at a news conference Wednesday he was"concerned about the irresponsible behavior" of House Republicans who did not wear masks in the Capitol. House Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y., directly criticized three Republican committee members for not wearing masks during the hearing with Barr on Tuesday.“I would remind Mr. Jordan, Mr. Biggs and Mr. Johnson to stop violating the rules of the committee, to stop violating the safety of the members of the committee, to stop holding themselves out as not caring by refusing to wear their masks," Nadler said.
