After DAP shuts its doors like MCA, weekasiongmp recalls limkitsiang's criticism

Wee Ka Siong has recalled how Lim Kit Siang belittled him when MCA's annual general meeting was held behind closed doors last year.

DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng told reporters that the closed-door session was to allow for discussions on policies. The media was earlier allowed to cover the opening session, involving a speech from DAP chairperson Tan Kok Wai, Guan Eng's policy address, and a brief remark by PKR president Anwar Ibrahim.

"This would allow grassroots to let off steam. Had the session been open to the media, they would only report on the complaints instead of the actual policy solutions," said one source.
