Rey's new Jedi Order movie finally gives Star Wars the opportunity to explore new villains. Confirmed at Star Wars Celebration 2023, Rey's new Jedi Order movie will be directed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy and take place 15 years after Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. The film will see the return of Daisy Ridley as Rey Skywalker, as she looks to rebuild the Jedi Order as the peacekeepers of the galaxy once more.

Rey was responsible for destroying Palpatine once and for all, with his Sith Eternal also being destroyed during the Battle of Exegol. Flashing forward 15 years to Rey's new Jedi Order, the film could see the introduction of new, unique villains.
