AFL star Danielle Laidley's life spiralled when she was arrested in 2020 over accusations of stalking while battling a drug addiction. She didn't get a chance to tell her story then. Now she is taking the reins and revealing it all, in her own words, in a new documentary.

They flash up early in Two Tribes, adding to the searing detail of a life that had clearly been tormented. But that was just Act 1. The two tribes in her life are the trans community and the football community and she gives each equal time and commitment.
