The pan-Yoruba socio-cultural and socio-political organization, Afenifere, has expressed its condolences to Ndigbo over the demise of the President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Iwuanyanwu.
The condolence message was contained in a press statement issued on Friday by Afenifere national publicity secretary, Comrade Jare Ajayi.
recalls that the businessman, community leader and politician passed away on Thursday in Abuja after a brief illness. He was 82 years old. Reacting, Afenifere National Leader, Chief Reuben Fasoranti, in the statement, expressed sympathy to the family of the deceased, the people of Imo State and Ohanaeze Ndigbo.
