The Philippine Commission on Women encouraged advocates and stakeholders to submit their lineup of activities for the upcoming National Women’s Month Celebration.
“We want to know more about your activities, [but] take note that only [initiatives] that are relevant to Gender and Development and the theme of this year’s celebration will be included in the 2023 NWMC Calendar of Event page upon assessment of PCW,” the commission stressed. Stakeholders may also show support by adopting the #PurpleWednesdays and #PurpleYourIcon — an initiative that requires participants to wear anything purple on all the Wednesdays of March.
