Saskatchewan advocates are rallying for a ban on all flavoured vape products to address rising rates of vaping use in teens and young adults.
Advocates gathered Tuesday to pressure legislators in Saskatchewan to take that step, and introduce a ban on all flavoured vape products other than tobacco flavour.
As of 2019, 30 per cent of students between Grade 7 and 12 now report having used a vape in the last month. Teens who vape are three times more likely to start smoking, Penz said. “As a lung doctor, this terrifies me, for what the future will hold for the health of our children and youth,” Penz said.Article content
