He said Saskatchewan has among the most statutory holidays in Canada, noting it recognizes Remembrance Day while some other provinces don’t. The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation takes place every year in Canada on Sept. 30 to honour children who never returned home andIt is a federal statutory holiday, and is marked as such in Prince Edward Island, the Northwest Territories, Nunavut and Yukon.
