Forensic expert Dr Shahrom Abd Wahid says fireman Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim was most likely in a state of shock and pain.
SHAH ALAM: A forensic expert told the inquest into the death of Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim that the fireman might not have fought back if he was assaulted as he was likely to have been in a state of shock during the Seafield temple riot.
“With the state of shock and the pain he suffered, he may not have fought back,” he told conducting officer Hamdan Hamzah during the inquest today. Hamdan also questioned Shahrom’s reconstruction of the incident with the Fire and Rescue Department officers. Earlier today, lawyers for Adib’s family and the housing and local government ministry raised objections against Hospital Kuala Lumpur pathologist Dr Ahmad Hafizam Hasmi sitting in at the proceedings.
