Adib’s supervisor, Syed Shahril Anuar Syed Sulaiman, said he communicated with the former in basic sign language when he visited Adib at IJN on Dec 5. Syed Shahril said Adib’s response to the questions led him to conclude that the latter was pulled out of the Emergency Medical Rescue Service van and was assaulted using weapons.
