Adamson University ended its 9-year Final Four drought after defeating University of the Philippines, 25-20, 27-25, 23-25, 25-15, on Saturday, April 22 in the UAAP Season 85 women's volleyball tournament at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Karen Verdeflor took Player of the Game honors with 16 excellent digs and 16 receptions to lead the Lady Falcons, who improved to 9-4 and made the
tournament's semifinals for the first time since Season 76 back in 2014.The Fighting Maroons, meanwhile, suffered their ninth straight loss and dropped to 1-11.
