“Pertama sekali saya menafikan sekeras-kerasnya telah terdapat apa-apa unsur salah laku dalam perolehan projek tersebut. Pihaknya juga berharap agar orang ramai tidak terlalu terburu-buru dalam memberi tanggapan buruk mengenai fitnah yang tersebar. “Saya juga bersedia untuk memberi kerjasama penuh dalam mana-mana siasatan yang dijalankan berhubung perkara ini oleh mana-mana agensi penguatkuasaan. Fitnah dan tohmahan berniat jahat ini tidak seharusnya dibiarkan untuk berleluasa.
