Action taken against Perak religious dept officer over SPM statement

IPOH: Disciplinary action has been taken against the Perak Islamic Religious Department officer who criticised Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek on social media.

"The department will take strict action in accordance with Regulation 19, Public Servants Regulations 1993 so that it serves as a lesson to other civil servants to be ethical in operating social media sites. JAIPk said that the statement was the personal views of the officer involved and did not in any way represent the department concerned.
