The heavy rains displaced families in the two regions and affected their livelihood, but with the generosity of donors, ABS-CBN Foundation Sagip Kapamilya was able to give relief packs to families living in barangays Casitan and Batangan in Gonzaga, Cagayan, and barangays Simayung and Sirit in Abulug.
In Ilocos Sur, the Foundation also served residents affected by massive flooding with food packs, including those living in the towns of San Ildefonso, San Pablo, Santo Domingo, and Bantay. In an interview with TV Patrol, Ilocos Sur provincial administrator Marlon Tagorda said the towns that ABS-CBN Foundation reached were submerged by the flood. “They are really devastated and they were directly hit by the typhoon so lahat ng mga pinuntahan natin lubog,” he said.
Individuals who wish to share their love with affected families can send their donation to ABS-CBN Foundation through various donation channels posted on the ABS-CBN Foundation Facebook page. They may also purchase ABS-CBN Foundation donation vouchers via Shopee and Lazada.
