Aboriginal flag decision a ‘nice first step’ of ‘many steps’

NSW Shadow Housing Minister Rose Jackson says the decision to replace the NSW flag with the Aboriginal flag on the Sydney Harbour Bridge is a “nice first step” of what needs to be “many steps” to help Indigenous people.

“That $25 million and a lot more needs to go to real programs on the ground, whether it’s life

expectancy, health, education, housing, all of those things must happen,” she told Sky News host James Morrow.
