A defamation case brought against the ABC by Special Forces Commando Heston Russell has been “turned on its head” after the ABC informed the court they will be withdrawing their defence, says Sky News host Sharri Markson.
“Russell is suing the ABC and two of its investigative journalists over stories published in 2020 and 2021. ” Ms Markson said.
Ms Markson discussed the case with The Australian Legal Affairs Contributor Vice President Chris Merritt.
