PETALING JAYA: The World Tour title continues to elude national men's doubles pair Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik.

The world No. 8 ended their Spain Masters outing in semi-finals on Saturday , losing 16-21,22-24 to Denmark's Kim Astrup-Anders Skaarup Rasmussen.

Aaron-Wooi Yik failed to capitalise two game points in hand at 20-19 and 21-20 as they fell to their second defeat in six meetings to the world No. 14 Danes. Aaron-Wooi Yik have yet to taste success on the World Tour since they started their partnership in late 2017. Their best achievements so far were coming in as runners-up at the SaarLorLux Open in 2018 and All-England last year.Top seed Viktor Axelsen of Denmark was just too hot for the 32-year-old to handle as he went down 10-21,19-21.They will be taking a week break before heading to Mulheim for the German Open from March 3-8.
