Anthony Albanese has made a last ditch attempt to convince voters to dispose of the last Coalition government on the mainland as he labelled the Perrottet government 'a shambles'.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has labelled the New South Wales Coalition"a shambles" amid Labor's bid for a clean sweep of mainland Australian governments.

Mr Albanese will travel to the foot of the Blue Mountains from Melbourne's outer-east, where he spent the morning campaigning for next week's Aston by-election. Mr Albanese said he was also keen to stress that both Mr Minns and Mr Perrottet"are both very good people". Mr Albanese continued by saying that whatever the outcome he will work with the NSW leader chosen by voters in a constructive manner.
