Listed last fall for $2.8 million, the stylish dwelling was re-listed a little more than a week ago with the considerably lower tag.

The late Texas business icon's son, David N. Kelleher, owned the stylish 6,800-square-foot home from 1999 through the early 2000s, according to Bexar County property records. Its current owners purchased the property in 2002. Built in 1948, the four-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bath house showcases the sleek styling and abundant natural light that were hallmarks of midcentury architecture. Upping the fancy factor, it also includes a courtyard with a central fountain, five fireplaces and breathtaking kitchen with storage for 150 wine bottles, according to listing details.

Additionally, the home is rich in architectural details, including plenty of custom millwork, the listing notes. Wormy chestnut doors and pecky cypress paneling adorn the home, along with oak and mahogany cabinetry.
