Orlaith Keenan and Shane Byrne share their love story and wedding celebration at Tranquility House.
The bride and groom travelled to the picturesque Tranquility House for a five-day wedding celebration, including delicious BBQ-style food, excellent entertainment and a great deal of dancing. Orlaith Keenan, owner of The Social Co. & Evermore The Studio, and Shane Byrne, VIP Guest Relations Executive at Dublin Airport and Trainee Pilot. We met in school during Transition Year. I went to an all-girls school and Shane went to an all-boys school.
Each year the two schools combined to put on a play, and we met on the first day of auditions. The play that year was. We got engaged in June 2021. We took a babymoon to Farnham Estate, or so I thought. I was due in July and Covid regulations were still prominent. We had a very specific time slot for dinner (due to restrictions) and I was worried we would miss it as we were running late – we spent far too long in the outdoor pool relaxing! I was rushing out the door, mask on, and when I turned around to hurry Shane along, there he was holding the ring box in his hand.
