“It was close to Christmas. The parish community presented an Advent musical entitled God Speaking. It was beautiful. The theme song God Speaking asked questions.Dear Friends of MJD and all Christians, wishing you a blessed and holy Christmas. Thank you for journeying with me. This is my reflection of what most of us are like, with questions that take us away from the Lord or questions that point to the One who is in our midst.
The Christmas Event evoked questions in the people of Israel and even in the people today. The people, who had waited long, had many questions. The event aroused questions that unsettled a king, his courts and the powerful. The searching questions unveiled the God in a manger, which was unimaginable. God spoke in strange ways.Mary asked: How can this be? God spoke through the angel, and through Elizabeth.
You will know that it is the God in the Manger: when you hear the words: is there a room in your heart?
