can't be found on Google Maps. As the name suggests, this mini library is meant to be secretive and is hidden off a park trail on the Northwest Side of San Antonio.
It's constructed into a bright red wooden structure and is equipped with dozens of books and a few writing journals. But the hammock and red picnic chairs situated aside it are what grabs the attention of passersby.. He created it because he enjoys reading outside, and to surprise hikers and others with a cool and welcoming spot to rest and read."I wanted to create a sense of stumbling across something neat in the woods," he said.
Although the exact location will not be revealed in order to keep it a"surprise" for hikers and others in the area, those curious can venture out along the Leon Creek Greenway near Bamberger Nature Park to find it among the trees. To be a part of the secret book club is simple. Visitors either take or leave a book, and they can choose to sign their name in the guest book.
