Partners Andy Anisfeld and Lucas Thompson started house hunting in Chicago after Mr. Anisfeld’s promotion to vice president of a pharmaceutical firm came with the caveat of relocating to Chicago.
The move required some soul-searching. It meant Mr. Thompson, now 34 years old and an actor, would have to sacrifice proximity to the New York theater scene. Still, the two decided the time was right to leave their 800-square-foot New York City apartment.
